Registration & Tickets

Yes. Registered delegates may request updates to their personal or institutional details after registration. Please note that administrative changes, such as adjustments to invoicing details or the name on an invoice, may be subject to an administration fee, as these changes require manual processing. For any updates or corrections, please contact the conference secretariat by email.

If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your registration to a substitute delegate. Please ensure that the conference secretariat is notified of the substitute’s name at least two weeks prior to the event, and that a written authorization (by email) from the original registrant is provided.

If you are unable to attend, you may cancel your registration by notifying the conference secretariat in writing (by email). Cancellations received more than one month prior to the event are eligible for a 50% refund, minus an administration fee of € 50,-. Cancellations received within one month of the event are not eligible for a refund. Any applicable refunds will be processed within a reasonable period following receipt of a valid cancellation request.

Yes. Registered delegates will receive a digital confirmation or ticket, which can be presented on a mobile device during on-site check-in. Further details about the check-in process will be communicated to delegates closer to the conference date.

On-site registration is not guaranteed and is subject to availability. We strongly recommend registering in advance via the online registration system to secure your place and ensure a smooth check-in process.

An official invoice from the ISLC-PAIS Conference Foundation with applicable VAT details is issued upon completion of registration. As the conference takes place in the Netherlands, Dutch VAT applies to all delegates, including international participants and organisations. VAT reverse-charging is not applicable to conference admission fees. Requests for changes to invoicing details must be submitted to the conference secretariat and may incur an administration fee of € 50,-.

While the ISLC-PAIS Conference Foundation has insured the event in accordance with applicable regulations, individual participants are not insured. By registering for the conference, participants acknowledge that neither the Foundation nor the organisers accept responsibility for personal injury, illness, travel disruptions, or loss or damage to personal belongings. Participants are advised to obtain appropriate personal insurance.

Venue & Accessibility

Yes. A staffed cloakroom will be available at the venue during conference hours for coats and small personal items.

Yes. The conference will take place at H’ART Museum, which is fully accessible for wheelchair users and delegates with reduced mobility. All public areas are step-free and accessible via ramps and elevators. While some walking between rooms may be required, distances are moderate. The venue is equipped with multiple accessible elevators and three accessible restroom facilities.

A limited number of manual wheelchairs and walkers are available at H’ART Museum and can be reserved in advance, subject to availability. If these are fully booked, additional mobility aids may be arranged through an external provider, possibly at the delegate’s own expense. Please note that the conference does not provide staff or volunteers for personal mobility assistance. Delegates with accessibility or mobility needs are kindly asked to indicate this in the “special requirements” field during registration and to contact the conference secretariat in advance. While support cannot be guaranteed, we will do our best to explore reasonable options where possible.

In collaboration with the Tesla Owners Club and Snuuzu, which provides hotel-mattress comfort beds designed for use in Tesla vehicles, a limited number of climate-controlled vehicles will be available as rest spaces. Vehicles will be ventilated between uses and are equipped with large HEPA air filtration systems. Due to the urban location of the venue, complete silence cannot be guaranteed. Delegates who expect to make use of quiet or rest facilities are kindly asked to indicate this in the “special requirements” field during registration. Availability is limited.

Yes. H’ART Museum offers two accessible parking spaces for delegates and museum visitors who hold a valid disabled parking permit. These spaces are available by reservation only and are intended for the delegate’s own vehicle. Delegates who would like to reserve a an accessible parking are kindly asked to indicate this in the “special requirements” field during registration. Please include the licence plate number. A confirmation will be sent by email separate from your registration. If both spaces are already reserved, you will be informed accordingly.

Cars, buses, and taxis cannot stop directly in front of H’ART Museum. Delegates arriving by car or taxi should navigate to Nieuwe Keizersgracht 1. From the access gate at the start of the street, the museum entrance is approximately a one-minute walk. If required, you may use the intercom at the access gate to request drop-off closer to the entrance.
